“Have your dog spayed or neutered.” You’ve heard that before; we all have. I have preached that sermon myself. Although spaying or neutering is still beneficial for your pooch, the pet community as a whole, and you as an owner, studies in the last decade have shone a light on a few pitfalls as well. In this podcast, I will discuss the benefits and some of the potential problems associated with the procedure. As a Pet Wellness Advocate, you need full disclosure to make an informed decision because ‘to spay or not to spay’ is no longer a no-brainer!
