My story and my experience
I earned an honours degree in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto in 1988 and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1993.
I have written various pet-centric articles for the national edition of 24Hour Magazine, was the creator and host of the weekly internet radio show, Animal House Radio, and was a returning guest on CP 24's television segment Animal House Calls with Ann Rohmer. I have also worked as a Veterinary Technical Services Manager for Veterinary Nutraceutical companies.
Through all of my years as a practicing veterinarian, lecturer, radio host and writer, I have discovered a universal truth among pet owners: most want to be better wellness advocates for their pets, but they just don't know how! I want to change that. That's why I created the Pet Wellness Advocate website.
This site is for YOU. It's for every pet owner who wants advice on how to improve the health of their loyal friend, and for everyone who wants to learn more about disease prevention and how to avoid many of the ailments that may affect their pet.
